The WaterKiD™ Baby Carrier is one of the safest baby carriers designed for water, currently available. Some of these features include:

• the girth adjustments for the baby’s waist. This should be snug against baby’s torso but not tight – the baby should be able to shift inside the seat.
• Another safety feature not currently found on other designs are the leg hole retention straps, which should be fastened and tightened to the smallest appropriate size for your baby’s thigh width to prevent your baby slipping through the leg hole.
• The chest cross-strap should be fastened and tightened and lay comfortably against your baby’s chest in the WaterKiD™ Baby Carrier. This will prevent the baby from tipping too far forward.

Upon purchase, please put the WaterKiD™ Baby Carrier on, without your baby in it, to adjust for your comfort, ensure the waist strap is snug around the carrier’s middle and the shoulder straps are lying flat against the shoulders and upper torso. Adjust the vertical straps to ensure the baby will be sitting at the most comfortable height for the care-provider.
